If you run a customizable CSA, you can now offer extra retail items that members pay for on top of their share. Turn on the new Add-on Only toggle when editing any product variant, and that item won't count toward a member's box credit or their box target value. Members with a customizable box see a clear Add-on Only badge in the shop, so they know exactly which items are true extras. When a member adds one to their box, the cost is billed to their card on file instead of drawing down their buydown credit. Everything happens automatically once you flag a variant, so there's no extra setup needed on the customer side.
