For ranchers & meat producers
Wholesale, retail and subscriptions sold off one inventory — with deposits on whole animals, invoices priced off actual weight, and routes built around what has to stay cold.
When anything changes, you text it.

Ranches and meat producers running on Farmhand
Live on Farmhand
A club that fills in January, a half hog reserved in June for a September harvest, a monthly box that runs three counties. Same platform underneath, and none of them sell the way the others do.
The Creamery Club reserves the year for member families. Whole and half animals sell on deposit months ahead of the kill date, and anyone can walk up and buy a ribeye off the same shop.
A2/A2 raw dairy · whole-animal deposits · retail by the cut
Pastured chicken, eggs, pork, grass-finished beef and Katahdin lamb, plus a summer veggie CSA and a pumpkin patch. Half and whole hogs sell on a $150 deposit with the harvest date posted up front and the balance billed on hanging weight.
5 livestock lines · $150 hog deposit · balance on hanging weight
One heritage Meishan herd sold down to the last cut — roasts in weight bands, a $775 half-hog saver pack, offal and lard, and soap made from the same animals. Subscription boxes and restaurant wholesale run off that catalog, alongside the food truck.
Weight-banded roasts · half-hog packs · wholesale & food truck
Heritage pork sold three ways off one herd — cuts in the shop, a monthly farmer's-choice box, and wholesale to buyers who want volume. One delivery run a month covers Sonoma, Napa and Marin.
3 counties · monthly route · farm pickup
Registered Black Angus, Berkshire pork, pastured chicken and turkey, raised birth to processing on one farm in the Adirondack Park. Sold as bundles, subscriptions and one-time orders alongside the farmers' market.
4 species · bundles + subscriptions · market & farm pickup
A member co-op that aggregates raw dairy, pastured meat and eggs from more than twenty Michigan farms, then delivers to the door or to a pickup site — with membership and payment handled at signup.
22+ partner farms · 100+ families · delivery & pickup sites
From a ranch already running this way
“I kind of had maxed out, not in terms of the products that I could provide, but in terms of the managing that I could do of that.”
Lucy Meade · Heavy Hollow Farm · Lancaster, KY
She runs a raw dairy, a meat operation and a members' club off the same herd — the Creamery Club reserves the year, and the shop sells what's left by the cut.
100+ families on the herdshare · 50% revenue growth from add-ons alone · 90+ items on one pack list
Everything on one platform
01 — WHOLESALE, RETAIL & SUBSCRIPTIONS
The same walk-in fills a chef's standing order, a Saturday shopper's cart and Tuesday's subscription boxes. When a case of ground leaves for one of them, the other two should already know.
Put Ember Kitchen on wholesale pricing — 40 lbs of ground standing every Thursday.
02 — WHOLE ANIMAL
Whole, half and quarter sales are the largest orders you take and the hardest to invoice, because the number the price depends on is the one nobody has yet.
The Angus hung at 612 lbs — bill the three quarter shares and credit their deposits.
03 — ROUTES & DELIVERY
Cold has to land first on the north route today.
04 — MARKETING
Every pound has to move before the next animal comes back, and the fastest way to move it is a message to people who already buy from you.
We're heavy on pork chops. Run a flash sale tonight — 20% off, members and shop.
05 — SUPPORT & BILLING
Pickup times, a hold for a week away, a card that expired, where the truck is. Real people on our team answer all of it, seven days a week, in your farm's voice — and every thread stays visible to you.
Put the Hendersons on hold through the end of the month — they're out of town.
From the people on the other end
Ordering that's a little bit fun, add-ons they can tack on themselves, and a photo showing the cooler was packed. Three members, in their own words.
“Wow, what a fun way to order! I'll take 10 lbs, please!”
“Loving the [Farmhand] platform–it is so much easier to add on extras!”
“Thanks for the delivery confirmation and photo! Happy to see it's safe in the cooler.”
Your turn
Bring the thing you've been putting off — the wholesale account you keep meaning to set up, the freezer you're carrying into spring, the quarter-share invoices you still build by hand. Fifteen minutes with Ari, our founder and a farmer. He'll tell you straight whether we're the partner you need.
