Know exactly when a price change takes effect

Release Date:
June 2, 2026
The price change warning dialog in the bulk editor

Updating a price mid-season used to cause surprises: you'd change a product's price expecting in-flight orders to recalculate, then find invoices and pack lists still showing the old values. Now Farmhand tells you exactly what to expect before you save. You'll see info tooltips on the Price field in the Edit Price dialog and on the Price and Unit columns in the bulk editor, plus a quick "Got it" confirmation when saving bulk price changes. Existing pending and confirmed orders keep their original price and unit — only new orders pick up the change — and fulfillment reports may show old and new units side by side until existing orders are fulfilled. Nothing about pricing behavior changed; you just won't be caught off guard.

Where to find this update:
Products → Edit Price, or the bulk editor
