That's $2,000 toward filling your CSA — a website, managed ads, print and mailers, or a one-on-one with a farm expert like Farmer Meg on pick-your-own. Behind it, Farmhand runs the signups, the billing, and the newsletter that fills your shares.
15 minutes with Ari — our founder, and a farmer. No sales team. Marketing credit is a Business Pro benefit.
Join this signup season and your Business Pro account gets a $1,000 marketing credit right away — and it renews to another $1,000 every January. Spend it on the things that actually fill shares, or book a few sessions with a farm expert. No separate invoice, no card.
On other plans you still get the platform, the done-for-you newsletter, and 7-day member support — the $1,000 credit and expert sessions are what Business Pro adds.
Trusted by the nation's top CSA, market, and herdshare farms
Every feature here started with a CSA farmer on the phone, not a roadmap meeting. Nothing on this page needs a second vendor.
Rebuilding the list every season, sorting the pack by hand, chasing the four cards that failed, answering the same skip request eleven times. None of it shows up on an invoice — and all of it comes out of your season. The calculator puts a number on it.
You talk to Ari — our founder, and a farmer, not a sales rep. He walks through what your shares, routes, and members would look like on Farmhand. No pitch deck.
Members, balances, payment methods, delivery sites, product list, and your site. Send us what you have, in whatever shape it's in.
Your branded site goes up, the first newsletter goes out, and your members get the number to text. From then on, so do you.
Most farms are fully migrated in under two weeks — mid-season, without asking members to do anything.
There are no upfront costs or setup fees. Most CSA farms pay between $80 and $200 a month — and many save money by dropping the separate routing, email, and SMS tools they were paying for on top of an old platform. We'll walk through pricing on the call based on your farm's size and needs.
No — straight answer: the $1,000 annual marketing credit and the 1:1 expert sessions are Business Pro benefits. Every plan includes the platform itself, the done-for-you newsletter, your branded signup, and real people answering your members seven days a week. If Business Pro isn't the right fit for your farm, Ari will tell you that on the call rather than sell you up.
Yes. Customizable (members pick their items), farmer's choice (you curate the box), market style (members shop an open list), and hybrids are all supported — and you can switch between them seasonally. Tell Ari how your shares actually work and he'll show you the setup.
Yes — most farms switch mid-season, right in signup and renewal season. Migration usually takes under two weeks, and members don't re-join. To keep them in the loop, we send box inserts, pickup-site signage, and email and SMS notifications weeks in advance — so everyone knows what's coming well before anything changes.
No. We migrate members, balances, payment methods, delivery sites, and order history — and it stays yours. You can export the whole list any day you want, including the day you leave. We don't sell food, so your list isn't worth anything to us except as your list.
We do — a real person, seven days a week, by text and email, on every plan. Skips, holds, card declines, address changes, "where's my box." Anything that genuinely needs you gets forwarded with the context already gathered.
Yes, online at checkout and in person, alongside card, debit, ACH, cash, and check. It all posts to the same member balance with no extra admin for you.
Bring the thing you've been putting off — the members you can't migrate, the site that won't fill, the price list you rebuild every season. Ari is our founder and a farmer. He'll tell you straight whether we're the partner you need — and if Business Pro fits, get your $1,000 fall marketing credit started.
