New this fall · $1,000 marketing credit

Sign up this fall and we put $1,000 toward your marketing — then $1,000 more in January.

That's $2,000 toward filling your CSA — a website, managed ads, print and mailers, or a one-on-one with a farm expert like Farmer Meg on pick-your-own. Behind it, Farmhand runs the signups, the billing, and the newsletter that fills your shares.

The fall offer

Your first year comes with $2,000 in marketing.

Join this signup season and your Business Pro account gets a $1,000 marketing credit right away — and it renews to another $1,000 every January. Spend it on the things that actually fill shares, or book a few sessions with a farm expert. No separate invoice, no card.

On other plans you still get the platform, the done-for-you newsletter, and 7-day member support — the $1,000 credit and expert sessions are what Business Pro adds.

New · Free A referral program — give $10, get $10 Your members invite a neighbor, both get $10 off — and Farmhand covers the credit, not you. The cheapest new member you'll ever get, and it's free to turn on.

One platform. One login.

Five jobs a CSA farm does every week — run for you.

Every feature here started with a CSA farmer on the phone, not a roadmap meeting. Nothing on this page needs a second vendor.

Marketing

Shares don't sell themselves in February.

  • A branded website and mobile-first, three-step signup
  • A newsletter we draft and you approve — the retention engine
  • Flash sales and SMS to move the surplus, reply-to-buy
  • Waitlists that show you which site to open next
Billing

Every rhythm a farm actually bills on.

  • Season upfront, monthly plan, or per delivery — your call
  • Failed cards retried and members messaged for you
  • SNAP/EBT online at checkout and at the market table
  • Add-ons billed to the same account, one balance per member
Fulfillment

One pack list. Every channel on it.

  • A harvest report before you pick
  • Packing labels per member, in route order
  • Multi-driver routing on the driver's phone, with proof of delivery
  • Pickup sites with caps, waitlists, and arrival windows
Member support

Your members text us. Not you.

  • Real people, seven days a week, by text and email — every plan
  • Skips, holds, and vacations handled end to end
  • Card declines, address changes, and site swaps
  • Anything that needs you is forwarded with the context gathered
Coaching

A farmer on the phone, not a help doc.

  • 1:1 calls on the real problem — pricing, filling a site, renewals
  • Expert calls on agritourism, marketing, and operations
  • Free live workshops with farms running your model
  • A weekly playbook written by a working farm
All of it

CSA, herdshare, store, and events — one catalog.

  • A member with a veg share, a milk share, and two event tickets is one login
  • Retail and wholesale off the same inventory and routes
  • No extra charge for routing, SMS, the website, or the newsletter
  • Most farms run at least two of the four

The hours nobody invoices you for.

Rebuilding the list every season, sorting the pack by hand, chasing the four cards that failed, answering the same skip request eleven times. None of it shows up on an invoice — and all of it comes out of your season. The calculator puts a number on it.

Making the switch

Setup is easier than you think.

1

Book a 15-minute call

You talk to Ari — our founder, and a farmer, not a sales rep. He walks through what your shares, routes, and members would look like on Farmhand. No pitch deck.

2

We handle the migration

Members, balances, payment methods, delivery sites, product list, and your site. Send us what you have, in whatever shape it's in.

3

You're live

Your branded site goes up, the first newsletter goes out, and your members get the number to text. From then on, so do you.

Most farms are fully migrated in under two weeks — mid-season, without asking members to do anything.

Before you book

What farms ask before they switch.

What does it cost?

There are no upfront costs or setup fees. Most CSA farms pay between $80 and $200 a month — and many save money by dropping the separate routing, email, and SMS tools they were paying for on top of an old platform. We'll walk through pricing on the call based on your farm's size and needs.

Is the $1,000 marketing credit on every plan?

No — straight answer: the $1,000 annual marketing credit and the 1:1 expert sessions are Business Pro benefits. Every plan includes the platform itself, the done-for-you newsletter, your branded signup, and real people answering your members seven days a week. If Business Pro isn't the right fit for your farm, Ari will tell you that on the call rather than sell you up.

Can Farmhand handle my specific CSA model?

Yes. Customizable (members pick their items), farmer's choice (you curate the box), market style (members shop an open list), and hybrids are all supported — and you can switch between them seasonally. Tell Ari how your shares actually work and he'll show you the setup.

Can we do this mid-season, right now?

Yes — most farms switch mid-season, right in signup and renewal season. Migration usually takes under two weeks, and members don't re-join. To keep them in the loop, we send box inserts, pickup-site signage, and email and SMS notifications weeks in advance — so everyone knows what's coming well before anything changes.

Will I lose my member list or my history?

No. We migrate members, balances, payment methods, delivery sites, and order history — and it stays yours. You can export the whole list any day you want, including the day you leave. We don't sell food, so your list isn't worth anything to us except as your list.

Who actually answers my members?

We do — a real person, seven days a week, by text and email, on every plan. Skips, holds, card declines, address changes, "where's my box." Anything that genuinely needs you gets forwarded with the context already gathered.

Can we take SNAP/EBT?

Yes, online at checkout and in person, alongside card, debit, ACH, cash, and check. It all posts to the same member balance with no extra admin for you.

Fifteen minutes with Ari.

Bring the thing you've been putting off — the members you can't migrate, the site that won't fill, the price list you rebuild every season. Ari is our founder and a farmer. He'll tell you straight whether we're the partner you need — and if Business Pro fits, get your $1,000 fall marketing credit started.
